I charged my car a 100%. For instance the car says that the mileage is 372 range... That 372 number does not get reduced after many miles of driving.

Also there is a charging port problem in many 2019 Chevy bolts which has yet to be resolved by gm. The charging port actuator actually stays in the locked position which doesn't allow you to charge. The fact that people have to reset their 12 V battery is an indicator that this would make the Bolt somewhat of a lemon.

What chances do you think that I have ,since I'm leasing my car til August, to Purchase a 2023 bolt at my residual value? 2022?

Should I speak to concierge? Leasing company?

Thanks for all the help in advance :);):D

So not the battery recall issue, but something different where you would like a substitution of collateral swap under the lemon law? Have you attempted to have the problems repaired?

Anyway, most buyback attempts have been through the concierge as a first step. Good luck.

There is no permabent fixes for both issues... yet

I'm not sure I even understand the first issue as a known issue. Have you made any attempts for a repair? That's usually the first requirement for a literal lemon law claim.
It is just reporting the range wrong. It should be higher. It's like it is telling me I have 10 gallons of gas when I really have 10.5.

I don't know if the GOM not reporting a high enough range is necessarily something that can be proven to be a fault. It's like a fuel gauge reporting 10 gallons instead of 10.5 - would that level of inaccuracy in an ICE vehicle's fuel gauge be grounds for a lemon law claim?

And again, have you attempted to have your problems repaired?

Are you saying that the display says you have 372 miles of range and it doesn’t go down as you drive?

That can happen as the algorithm adjusts it calculations based on recent efficiency changes. Here's an example that was just posted for the VW ID4:

Yes. It just takes some random time before it goes down. 10-20 miles or so

Ignore the stupid guess-o-meter. You should be able to see battery bars disappear (there are 20) and the 1% increment % state of charge value in the My Chevrolet app go down as you drive.
