Got my winter tires on the GM fall '18 rebate, Michelin $140 rebate if you use a GM card, including the GM BUYPOWER card, $70 if another card.

Just noticed that my rebate was approved for $70 (used the BUYPOWER card, which I got just for this deal).

Anyone else having this sort of problem with GM rebates? At the very least, the BUYPOWER card gets canceled as soon as this rebate gets sorted out.

Called the rebate center today, took a lot of menu choices to get to talk with a person, but I did finally get to a friendly person who said that she would arrange for the correct rebate.

I guess just another minor frustration that falls into the category of "that should be the worst thing that ever happens" to me.
