Anybody have any experience with these for the kids in the back seats? $75 seems pretty expensive. I can look on Amazon all day, but wondering if anybody has any real-world feedback on the GM part or other equivalent units? Or is this just some off-brand junk that they're marking up 400% and branding as genuine GM?

Any thoughts on this matter?

This looks a little better built than most of the tablet holders I've personally seen in other vehicles, but I don't feel that it is worth 75 dollars.

I'm also wary of having things that high up that can become projectiles during an accident. It's right at head height, which gives me concerns over a child's safety, AND it's right at window height, making it an ideal window breaking object.

Personally I prefer the holders that are integrated into a seat back protector. That puts the pad a little lower. They're also a LOT cheaper.
