Ever since I got my car, I've been getting flashed by oncoming cars for highbeams. Over the months, I've moved the headlight aim lower and lower until the sharp cut off is about right and I don't get flashed. Sooo.... first thing this morning, I pull out of the neighborhood and accelerate. The oncoming car flashed me. I just realized how much the Bolt tilts when pulling briskly. Anyone know a cure for this? Strikes me as a suspension issue. Perhaps the car "raring up" like this is also the cause of the torque steering on hard acceleration?

Anyway, how to stop the headlights/car from tilting up so much?

Imagine a raw egg between your foot and the accelerator pedal... that will stop the porpoising.:D

Is the headlight aim user adjustable? I sometimes get flashed but only on the street in front of my house for some reason and I am not accelerating hard at all on the residential street. Does the Bolt headlights have an auto leveling feature? The only reason I think I might be getting flashed is if the headlights adjust high somehow while I leave the driveway and takes a while to adjust back to normal. When I drive down the street, the aim does seem to be higher than normal.

The VOLT forum was years of posts about lights being too dim (Gen 1). Most of the time, I did not notice, but more than once, could barely could find a turn on a rural road at night in light rain, then I understood.

I'm totally okay if BOLT lights are a bit bright, although I can understand concerns about aiming.

Yes, they are easy to adjust- just the height is adjustable, all you need is a long hex key. I can look up the size from mine if you'd like.

Does the Bolt headlights have an auto leveling feature?
No, that feature is not available.
