Hello from the edge of Los Gatos, CA (SF Bay Area). I'm order number 1 at Capitol Chevrolet in San Jose. Fully tricked out Kinetic Blue Metallic. Production date around 11/28-ish.
Currently leasing a Kia Soul EV, previously had two different Nissan Leafs. I've got a Tesla 3 pre-order but after getting close to one it looks like I'll be too tall for it (just like I'm too tall for the Model S but fit in a Model X decently). So the Bolt is probably my long-term EV if I fit in it!
The Tesla 3 is more of a sedan so there's less room for your legs. This man certainly doesn't look comfortable with where his knees are positioned. How tall are you?
I'm only 6'4" but I have a long torso and little legs. So I sit down like a 6'7"-ish person, which always makes interior roof height a problem. Legroom hasn't usually been an issue for me, luckily.
That leg space still doesn't look that bad and someone who really wants the Model 3 won't mind it. There's a strong pull towards getting a Tesla. Plus as long as that steer column can move up/down a bit it will make it even better for taller/shorter drivers.
Too bad the interior looks like something designed by Ikea.
I'm a shorty so I don't have any issue at all lol. But yea.. the interior looks extremely "flat". Super simplistic, nothing going on at all. Is there no rear view mirror or is it just the angle ?
There's a standard rear-view mirror. If you get the Premier, it also is a camera display giving you a wider and clearer view out the back. No heads in the way.
