Using the MyChevrolet app I can precondition the Cabin only if plugged in. If not plugged in I get an error message: Encountered a vehicle error. Please ensure the keys are not in vehicle and try again. There are no keys in the Bolt and I can Precondition the Cabin with the remote key not plugged in. Works just fine. Only mode that does not work is using the MyChevrolet app not plugged in.

Had to uninstall the app on my phone and reload it. Worked after that.

My OnStar free trial period (6 months) just ran out. I am going with just the basic (free) plan which lasts 5 years. The lady processing the cancellation said that "not all" of the myChevrolet app functions may continue to work. I have been able to precondition (only do it when plugged in) just fine. I am guessing the "Navigation" and "Energy Assist" portions may not work, but does anyone know if the "Remote Commands" and "Vehicle Status" portions continue to work. (As an aside, she did mention that the $37.48/month plan {the highest one} could be had for $19.95, but I declined even that offer.)
