If you get stuck in a snowbank, you no longer have to worry about Carbon Monoxide entering the cabin if the exhaust is blocked.
You do still have to worry about being a moron in the future, whether rescue is going to find you, etc. Also, if you're a Millennial or from the city, you should worry about why you didn't bring proper outdoor winter gear along.

No, I don't know from experience. This occurred to me this morning as I was crotch deep in new snow while trying to raise the electric fence enough so my cattle don't get out. There were too many places where the middle strand is buried, so I just gave up and will work on it this weekend instead. I often have to abandon the bottom strand over winter, but I've never had to abandon the middle strand.

For those of us that don't have to worry about the snow too much unless we choose to go there ... volunteer to go to the mountains etc. The thing I like is being able to precondition the car in the garage with the door shut and not get CO'd to death. Do this all the time during the winter. No contact high from the CO.

Yep nice to have a climate controlled dog house for sure... sure beats a crinkly space blanket. Not that I'd know.
My dogs never sleep outdoors, even if we never have any "winter" (it was 78 this morning). They both sleep indoors in their own beds. But sometimes they climb and sleep next to me and my wife. We find them in the morning laying on our legs.

Talking when I'm in the dog house... The Bolt makes an excellent one. Less room than my last two, but blows them away despite it. Idling an engine all night long is a no go. Residual cabin heat only lasts so long.

I had to do Meals on Wheels delivery today in the middle of a snowstorm. I just left the Bolt turned on with the heat going - it kept the inside toasty and the windows clear. I love this car!
