After careful calculation of the proper wire gauge I went to Lowes and got enough wire to hold my EVSE

The red arrow is where I "dremeled" a little grove for my charge cord wire.

I am buying one of these right away. My EVSE is currently encased in snow and ice.

I just use this...The HD guy gave it me for free since they had none in stock and there was an open package one sitting around...Bought a $1 drywall mount thing and now, happy with no plug on the floor. I actually had spare drywall mounts, but figured $1 was cheap enough to throw at HD.

I wanted to be able to walk past the car without tripping on the wire. Overhead keeps it out of the way and the outlet was already there. We just use the car around town so the 8A, 120V circuit works fine for us.
