Yeah, if you're not making any noise nobody seems to notice that you're driving wild. I guess that's why some motorheads love loud cars, but that's really not my thing.
Definitely a feature for me, not a bug. Figuratively staying off the radar.

Actually people generally don't seem to notice small hatchbacks, so something that looks like a Golf or a Fit is pretty much ideal. Although Teslas are getting so common here, they might be the next best way to stay anonymous.

I went from a 2006 MINI Cooper to my 2017 Bolt, and yeah, I miss shifting and the sound of the revving engine sometimes. But the Bolt is objectively faster, even if it doesn’t feel like it because there’s no drama in the acceleration. The MINI wasn’t particularly comfortable and didn’t ride great, so nothing to miss there. And as for reliability… well, it was a MINI, so there is no comparison. I’m happy with my choice.
