Hi y’all - I need to remove the black glossy trim around the center nav/screen. Unfortunately I don’t have a lot of experience remove interior trim and I’m super scared I’m going to break something expensive. It *appears* I need to first remove the long white trim that wraps underneath it but I’m not sure how to remove it either! I’m assuming it’s all clipped in but I can’t find a diagram on where all the fasteners are.

Thanks in advance!

Crutchfield sells a research notes on how to disassemble the front dash, they include a lot of pics, but not a lot of words. I havent't found the courage to remove the front dash yet. I did however replace the stock door speakers(LT-not Bose) with Alpines...While i wasn't able to get the top of the door panel off, i was able to pop off the clips on the bottom side of the door panels to access the speakers.

The Crutchfield Chevy Bolt Research Notes sell for 9.99, but if u buy a cheap set of speakers(or any order?), they include the Notes for free (pdf)

Thank you for sharing this information! Gives me the inspiration to do a speaker swap at some point (probably in the relatively distant future, but still...)

the notes are specifically for the bose version, but everything is mostly the same except the LT amp is located at the front not the rear and its very hard to access the stock LT amplifer and all its wiring. The stock amp its buried real good up in the dash passenger side i think.....The bose amp and sub are already in the back of the vehicle and make it easy to access the speaker output wires...
