By way of introduction, my wife and I each have a Bolt. She has a premier blue and I have an LT red. Both are 2017 (purchased early in 2018). We live in the Dallas area and we have a Ford expedition still for long trips where the charging stations/timing is tricky. It hardly gets used as we mostly drive in the DFW area. We put in a fast charger in the garage and coordinate using it to charge up. We are on the free electricity nights with TXU and we have the Bolts each set to charge during that window. We are both very happy with out Bolts. She switched from a Mini and I had a Rav4 with 250,000+ miles.

I'm assuming that by "fast charger" you mean a Level 2?


Around these parts, "Fast Charger" usually means DCFC.
