I had the same thought. Once there's more of a market, I'm confident that GM (or whoever) will have a solution.

I can see where the Bolt would work well and where it wouldn't (high speed chases with lots of curves; heavy snow/ice situations). But a normal city/town patrol seems like a very good fit because energy isn't lost idling the engine when stopped. Sounds like me to be a good way to save some tax dollars to either lower taxes or be spent on improving police effectiveness.

I know but there's a safety reason for fuse 34. A police cruiser kills a blind person over fuse 34 and that PD gets unwanted national attention.


I think the police would need a solution like a "silent mode" switch so that they hopefully use it only when they need stealth.
