Did the 3 updates today, the 'Newer" version I didn't get, but i also didn't get the Fedex mailer.

They told me that I had to get the new battery. How many others ON HERE also have that recall ?

It is on order, 3 week wait.

I asked if it was a NEW version of the battery or just the same pack and they couldn't tell me anything.

WHY I had to sit another hour while "the guy was on the phone with GM" is BS. They could have just called me to say when I needed to come back.

I also watched while 2 people that came in for Inspection stickers BOTH needed rear brake light bulbs. Makes you say, hmmmmm

I had no issues with driving, but I was 3/4 full tank and charged to the 2nd to top bar at the dealer after the updates.
Will see how AA works now.

Sorry, NOT Bolt for the inspections.

I got to keep the car.
No driving/instrument issues (except Android auto issues) after Mod2 update.

AA, Android Auto ... and it is NOT working. Asks me to allow MTP then goes to Radio "msgWAV " not supported. I am a bit peeved about it. I have uninstalled, cache cleaned, restarted, reinstalled... nada.

I just wanted to update this.
They have not called me yet with the battery. I have NOT called them either, not rocking the boat.

The car is working fine so I am ok with that.

I am hoping they get more tech time with Bolts before they play with my battery.

In the mean time I am watching a few noises in the car and if it is not cleared or gets worse I will let them know and then push about the battery.

Today I had the "condition not right for shifting" when I got into the car from the grocery. I should have known something was going to happen.
This morning all was good, dropped off DD to school.
Went to go to grocery and the screen didn't want to load. Hit the reset and held it. all good no issue shifting but was saying that there was a connection error.

When out of grocery, wouldn't let me shift to D/L. turned off, then on, same issue, car light with ! in it lit up. I turn off, get out open back door. get in, start and put in N, but it wouldn't let me go to R, but then did let me go to D.....

I called the dealer on way home to find out about the Traction battery that I still have not heard about.

Funny, she sends me "to the guy that was working on my order" and funny, he doesn't pick up and it goes to voice mail.....

I just read a few other threads about the shifter issue and informant thing not loading.

I have noticed the last 2 months that when I get in it brings up the 'don't take eyes off road" or some other message that pops up when you 'reset' the radio with FF and Home button.

I wonder if they are doing updates (and no I can't seem to know if they really did or not) and there are issues with doing that.

My Onstar vehicle diagnostic says Nothing about the issue I had a few hours ago ....

With batteries came lamps with infinite life, not.

Just think: that blue glowing strip on the dashboard could have been more functional LED bulbs instead of incandescent. Maybe the front turn signals? The back?

Why don't we get to vote on these decisions?

So the battery was supposed to take 3 weeks, and now it's been 3.5 months and nothing has been done? I hate to admit it, but the squeaky wheel always gets the grease before the quiet ones.

Most states have "Lemon Laws". Your situation might warrant a new vehicle. I'd go for a 2019, with the new bells and whistles.>:)
