2018 Premier here and I got the latest battery firmware update installed by the dealership. I do notice now that my interior illumination control doesn't do anything. Any tips on getting this working before I bring it back to the dealership?

The illumination control only works when the headlights are on (and it is generally dark outside). It will not change the brightness in the daytime. I believe that is 'normal' behavior, although I don't know why they just didn't let it work all the time. Always overthinking things...

Thanks. I tried it this morning with my lights on, no dice. Perhaps it wasn't dark enough? Thanks, I will try again tonight.

Yep, it's got to be dark out for this control to work regardless if you manually put lights on. Thanks for the help.
