I ordered one of these from Amazon

It arrived yesterday, updated the firmware per instructions and then plugged it in and connected it through bluetooth to my iPhone 11.
It booted right up and immediately showed google maps on the screen, that is what I had it on when I used the wired version.
I then tried several apps, ABRP, Electrify America, Chargepoint, all came up and I could view charging locations. I started Spotify, and tried Pandora, they worked well also.
I tried receiving and making phone calls, worked well on those too. I then asked Siri to give directions to the nearest Walmart and it showed on my screen through Apple maps.
So far everything I have tried has worked with no issues.
I went through this morning and when I turned on the car it automatically connected to carplay, I retried all the things I did after first installing it and it all worked flawlessly.
So far I highly recommend this adapter.

I have also a wireless adapter from CarLink. It works great and I use it while I am driving around town.
The only "beef" I have with it is that the MyChevrolet app isn't available in the Infotainment when I am using it. It's available when I am using the wired connection. I sent a message to the MyChevrolet app support to try and fix this. Didn't have an answer back. Does your adapter allow you to use MyChevrolet app (do you see the MyChevrolet app in the list of apps in the Infotainement) ?

Swipe right and you will see more CarPlay apps. It is on my wired connection. It is not in my wireless connection.

Keep an eye on your phone battery level using Wireless CarPlay. My XR will drain the battery more than twice as fast when it's connected to CarPlay, even if I'm not actually using any CP app. My phone goes from charging once every two days to draining in less than a day if I'm in the car a lot.

Isn’t your design very close to what the GOM is, only difference being that you turned it 90 degrees to the right and added the EPA number ? At least this is how I see it.. and I don’t see the need of the EPA number. Just because some people look at the middle number and they panic because it's...

This is true. But, you can put the iPhone on the wireless charging pad and it should be good. Or not ? I don't have the Premier because I didn't want leather seats, so no wireless charging for me either.

I have a wireless charging phone mount that I put my phone in. I made it on my 3d printer and hangs off the front of the cup holders.

If I have to take my phone out of its belt holster, I might just as well plug it in. Every time I try using the wireless charger, I leave the car and my phone in it. I never remember to get it back.

That's true. This is why I use the wireless kit only on around town trips. No need to take my phone out and still enjoying CarPlay.
For the long trips, wired connection is a must.

I stand corrected, it is there when it’s plugged in but not when I use wireless. I guess I just mever paid any attention to that app on the car before.

I have the CarLinkIt 2022 3.0 and can confirm that the MyChevrolet app does not appear anywhere. Plugging it in and unplugging the carlinkit it does show up.

On an AAwireless setup, it's the same crazy battery drain on Android devices too, and the wireless charger can't keep up with a Pixel 3. I'm not impressed by the performance of the wireless charger. I hope it's better on the iphone for your sake.

What do you use the My Chevrolet for when driving? I have never felt the need to use it while driving myself. Is it to keep up with your % SOC, or is it for navigation? Those are the only two things I can think of, but I use other apps for navigation, and I watch my charge meter on the Instrument cluster for the SOC, never off by more than 5% by reading the bars.

I use the Energy option in MyChevrolet app that plans the route (DCFC, % SOC at arrival, % SOC needed to reach the next destination) for long distance trips based on the vehicle data, traffic and road elevation. From my experience it is very accurate, in 1-2% ballpark. As I mentioned in the message in the link above, I have in a second the SOC of the battery at any moment, just by toggling between Maps and MyChevrolet app. It is also great when charging, it shows me the SOC real time and know when to stop the charge. I don’t like to pay more than necessary on the DCFC and I always try to arrive home almost empty. This way I put to good use the electrons I payed 4x more than those homegrown 😅😅😅

Please note, I do pay for OnStar to have access to Energy option and some other stuff.

Ah ok, I use ABRP and it has been right on for me, but I have not really done any multi charging stops on a trip yet. Usually just one short charge enough to get back home.
I don’t pay for OnStar, too expensive for me to justify.
