I have a 2017 Bolt, and for the past couple months (possibly since the last OTA software update, but I didn't notice it until way more recently than that), the Audio Info screen in the instrument cluster is usually (almost always) out of sync with what's happening with my main infotainment screen.
Examples:
I've tried rebooting the infotainment system, switching devices, and forgetting/re-pairing my phone. I have not yet tried a full reset to factory settings, because it's a pain to set all my pairings/favorites/preferences up again. I'm just curious whether anyone else has experienced (and hopefully fixed) this issue.
Examples:
- When I hang up a phone call, the instrument cluster stays on the “call” screen (i.e., who I was talking to, with the "hang up" button displayed) long after I've hung up. If I press the hang up/cancel/mute button on the steering wheel, it correctly mutes the radio, and I see the "push" effect on the screen, but the screen doesn't change.
- If I'm listening to music from my phone, either via Bluetooth or CarPlay, the instrument cluster screen is always a song (or two) behind what's actually playing. The main infotainment screen shows the correct info.
- If I'm listening to satellite radio, the screens seem to stay in sync much better, but not perfectly.
