Howdy folks - in the last few bits of negotiating (not a whole lot of room to negotiate on the West Coast of Canada, sadly!) for a 2019 Bolt LT. One thing I see on 2017/2018 option lists was the DC Fast Charging option, which seems to be gone from the list of options in 2019.

Can anyone confirm if this is now standard in 2019?

There's a few other bits that seem confusing, like heated steering wheel and heated front seats, which now seem standard on the LT (maybe just a Canadian thing) whereas they were options before. The problem is Chevy Canada's website hasn't updated their website with the 2019 model details but dealers have started selling 2019 cars already. The sales folks at the dealership have been nice and helpful but also don't seem to have easy access to all these little details. Ughhhh..

Thanks in advance!

Thanks XJ12, interesting that it might be mandatory here, that would explain it. I had read that exact thread earlier and I'll definitely look for the orange cover, just had to make sure they don't order me a car without the darn thing cause as far as I can tell, it's not something you could easily install after the fact hehe.

You are correct in Chevrolet being remiss with their website. I couldn’t believe that they did not list the 2019 models, every other maker in the country does including Nissan.
I have a 2018 LT, one of the last ones from that model year. DCFC, steering & seat heat were standard, you couldn’t order a Canadian unit without them.

I believe in Canada the DCFC is considered standard. Still would be good that the paperwork lists the standard equipment and that DC fast charging provisions is listed.
Yes, it's standard equipment on Canadian Bolts. On my Monroney sticker it's listed as "Fast Charging Provisions", the first bullet point under "Mechanical Features".

Since I began shopping, last April, and then purchased in May 2018, I have never seen, on any lot, a Bolt that did not have the DCFC installed.

I can think of a few Island locations where it might not be necessary.

Otherwise, I do not understand why even some 2017 were made without DCFC.
