I turned in my 2016 Soul EV lease last July and I have truly been missing driving an EV ever since. I picked up my 2020 Premier last night and it instantly filled the void my Kia left behind and then some. I'm really looking forward to driving this beauty and learning all that it can do for the contributors on the site.

Every new car seems to have a "I wonder what this does" button or knob that turns out to be a cool feature. Are there any I should check out on my way home from work?

Thx and nice to meet you all.

Thx for the suggestion. I was using the hand paddor and was wondering if there was a regen mode.
And if 'L' mode doesn't slow you down enough, you can add additional regen with the paddle on the steering wheel. The beauty of 'L' mode is the car will come to a complete stop. If the road you're on has some slope to it, the car will engage the parking brake if you sit too long stopped in 'L'.

My understanding is that sport mode makes no difference if you're "flooring it".
Throttle response certainly feels more brisk with Sport Mode on, even when flooring it. Though I haven’t objectively measured this on the track, but subjectively I can feel the Bolt is snappier with it on. And I’ve tried the different combos too (e.g., D-Sport-TractOff, L-NonSport-TractOff, etc)

-An easy way to activate the front parking cam (since it has no dedicated button or voice command) is to pull in to the parking spot and just shift in to reverse for a second, then go forward using the image from the front camera.

-If you're using Waze, Google Maps through Android Auto or Carplay and need to use another screen- you can easily get back to the live maps by simply pressing and holding the physical "HOME" button for a few seconds.

-If it's cold out, set your climate control to max temp on a high fan speed before exiting the Bolt for the last time of the day. In the morning when plugged in to your L2 EVSE, start the precondition via the fob 10-15 min befor departure and you'll step in to a nice warm Bolt that will not require any battery power to heat for some period of time.

-Look in to a spare tire/puncture solution before it's needed.

Great tips. I was looking for tire inflator kit earlier today. I found a Chevy OEM inflator and sealant kit on eBay for $70 shipped but there is no telling what the expiration date is on the sealant.

Then I came across a kit that is made by slime that contained all the same parts with a similar form factor to the OEM for $25. I was going to make a post to see if anyone had luck fitting the slime inflator and sealant into the bolt foam under the cargo area. I might just give it shot. They are building a new phase in my subdivision and I have at least one flat tire between my wife and I every month.

When in reverse, "push" (not pull) the winshiled wiper control and see what happens to the rear camera......
