Not many people know Chevrolet is French name. The dealership sales for our 2017 volt was a Frenchman. He didn't know that till I told him. He felt quite proud after he looked it up himself. I believe he pronounced it perfectly.

I’ve literally never heard anyone seriously pronounce the T… only when joking and trying to sound ignorant. It’s always Chevy or “Shev-row-lay” here, like it should be. If anyone seriously pronounced the T I have to ask what rock they’ve been living under since they’ve seemingly never heard a TV or radio commercial.

Around here, people add an apostrophe + s to names, like "Ford's" or "Meijer's" (grocery store chain).
