Just got the update applied to my 2017, today

Hilltop reserve mode is back. Though I’m currently charging to full in my garage

Total time at the dealer took about 5 hours

The dealer also applied the software patch for the radio, that prevents it from automatically turning on every time (thank god).

Only 97% sure, but the menus/home-screen feel just a tiny bit different. Not sure if that was part of the recall update, or the radio update.

Noticed there’s an option for “Chirp horn on Passive Vehicle Lock” in the menu, not sure if that was there before

Dealership didn’t mention any issues with the battery after diagnosis. As part of the process they also fully discharged and recharged the 12V accessory battery

Took mine in 2days ago and after the update the service vehicle soon light was on. Went right back to get it reset and the service guy said it was a software glitch so gave me a loaner car for overnight. He called me yesterday that it was ready so went back and he had me sign the service paperwork and I waited for the car to come around and finally they said they couldn't get it out of park and some new codes came up, so sent me home with loaner again and I've called twice today and have not heard any news from them yet. The paper work yesterday said, reinstalled software update and test drove and everything as it should be. Boy I guess that was wrong. I only have 11,500 miles on my premier and every thing was as it should be when I took it in, except the needed new update to get hill top reserve back and full charge capability. Frustrating.

Was one of them P0BBD? That means the update caught a problem with your battery system. You would be the fourth or fifth to mention this here, since the update.
They didn't relay to me the codes that have come up. But after my third call for the status of my update Friday I got a call from the service and he said that I did have a battery cell degradation and that a new battery sector was on order and should be in Mon. or Tues. so I would have to suffer a little longer with driving their gas loaner (groan), All is still under warranty so I'm assured that Chevy is taking care of me at no costs. All seems strange to me because I've been showing just over 200 miles after full charge and the green cells all lit but one. So if I had a cell in a sector going bad I guess I'm lucky that there was a recall to catch it. looking forward to getting it back,
