One pothole, 2 tires + 2 wheels gone, 7 days in dealership (and not done yet), $500.00 deductible, driving a rental Fusion EcoBust courtesy the insurance company
I saw VDOT and thought it was acceleration. A very large change in velocity to cause two tires and wheels to go. Way to go Virginia department of transportation. Having a spare doesn't even cover this situation.
The Fusion hybrid is a fantastic car. That's my go to rental. 45 MPG, not as sluggish as a Prius, and quiet cabin. It's a smooth and efficient car. No Bolt, but fantastic as far as petrol cars go. Shame they are discontinuing it.
