While it hasn't happened yet in my Bolt, I would regularly get dropped off in my LEAF with my key in my pocket and the poor person driving would have a brick when they turned the car off. Loved that my B-Class had a traditional key that one turned in the 'ignition' so that the car state was assured and there was a reminder to remove the keys. I liked that much better.

It's not a good idea to hang projectiles in front of the knee airbag.

Perhaps a smaller carabiner would keep it a bit higher, and above the knee-bag inflation area? I'm assuming that the knee-bag comes out from under the dash. (I'll have to take a look under there.)

In case anyone is concerned, that hatch behind it in the picture is the fuse panel cover.

That cable draping across there could be a problem in an air-bag deploying collision, too.
