To get a long item inside, I had to move the front passenger seat back and recline it all the way, as well as fold down the back seats. I did not want it on top of the dash because airbag inflation with it there would not be very nice.

Yeah I've seen some pics of pretty big items inside of Fits due to the "magic" seats. I figured the Bolt could do just as well. Have not tried anything that wild yet.. Those of you have have tried lets see some pics!

1100 pounds is about five big passengers, that should be within limits. Any better pics of the tent setup??

Front passenger seat doesn't fold down as nicely as I thought it would.. tried it last night. Record #1 longest object... you probably couldn't get something from the passenger foot well all the way to the hatch glass. I've done that before in a little Honda hatch no problem though.

Most bulky:
1cy of bagged (14 2cf bags, stored inside) cedar mulch, along with 300 lbs of bagged stone. The combination fit, but was probably too much weight.
Longest inside:
9'x13' area rug (rolled, riding at an angle from back left to front right on dash).
Longest inside/outside:
30 gal crape myrtle (about 15' from stem to stern). Container in the back, tree going through front passenger window, over mirror, and bent around hood, tied to license plate.
