The radio's are pretty unstable in general (especially android auto).. my radio needs a reboot every few weeks when I drive my car daily.

Really wish we would get an update. My car (2019) is over a year old now and has had zero updates. Pretty disappointed in Chevy to be honest... I thought the Bolt was going to be them trying to improve their tech vs just pushing the same old Onstar crap. Tesla gets updates and improvements weekly... I don't think an update with minor bug fixes and improvements every 6 months from Chevy is asking too much.

I just saw this bulletin on GM's system. Looks like we're actually getting at least one infotainment update!!

The article mentions nothing about OTA... and only the manual USB update. I haven't been able to pull it from TIS2WEB per the bulletin instructions... getting errors about my radio is an unknown version.

I wonder if they're trying to time its release with the final recall work?

Yup. That's the original software. Chevy has been lazy not updating. It looks like "at some point" we're going to get a 34.9.2 update.

Not really a thing. The head units run QNX which has few to no malware in the wild (they're also a pretty closed system)

Somehow, i've gotten the ear of someone in engineering @ GM (won't post their information for obvious reasons) "who is responsible for the 34.9.2 update". I'm asking why the 34.9.2 update isn't applying through tis2web, and if it's going to be available via OTA. I also mentioned a lot of folks complaining about instabilities in the 2019 and before MY. I also mentioned people complaining about losing video playback in the 2017 MY

WOOT. I was getting my 2019 car serviced for the recall and was able to successfully get the radio update from the dealer!!! Tldr; I had to mention having the issues listed AND had to give them the service bulletin. Radio update was free under warranty.

I pick it up in a few hours and will post screenshots of the radio version.
