Have had my Bolt for nearly 5 months to the day.
Today, I get in, start it up, put it in drive and was shocked by a very loud announcement from OnStar about the status of my ONSTAR as I started moving.
I elected to not pay every month for OnStar service.
It was really loud.
Something about limited OnStar service.
Can't find a setting to quiet it or eliminate OnStar announcements in my car?
Anybody else get this loud msg?
Can't see a OnStar setting in the OnStar menu?
Uhg.

For the radio vs. CarPlay/Android Auto, the car seems to remember volume settings if you adjust the volume as each is playing. In other words, to adjust the volume of Android Auto audio you have to turn the volume knob while Android Auto is producing audio output. It may work the same way for OnStar - you might need to turn the volume knob down during the OnStar announcement.

Thank you!
I'll try that next time it goes off.
It was so loud, it shocked me and I basically stopped thinking.
4:45 a.m. and you are quietly pulling out of your driveway in the dark when this booming loud OnStar voice comes from every speaker in the car...Oy!
Good thing I'd already visited the loo.
