Only a couple of weeks, Then shrivel and back to the green. Have several in the yard, and, at least, they are staggered in blooming.

Not bad. I'm looking to add to my succulent collection. Does is just bloom like that once a year? The one I posted only blooms for a day and then a few more a few days later. But it repeats every month or so over the summer.

Just one big unified bloom once a year. Individual plants are slightly out of sequence.

My backyard. I do not miss Arizona. Sure there's pine trees, but no lush ferns and grass covering the forest floor. Those trees are small redwoods.

I have one of those, caught one rattler and two Sonoran gopher snakes last year with it. Here is the rattler going back into the desert.

At least snakes are easy to avoid and keep out of your house and don't wake you up at 3am with incessant noise. Do we REALLY need to have crickets?

That is how I move snakes too. Hint, don't toss at a tree limb on side of road. The stupid snake will rebound back at you.

Diamondbacks will move away after you release it. Sidewinders get mad and came back at you. One followed me a hundred yards at least.
