The 2 favorite things my passengers love are the rear view mirror(camera view) and Heated Rear Seats !!


After 110,000 miles in an ICE (running hard like we do with Uber/Lyft few hundred miles per day) would be noisy lifters,leaks and just about time for new belts and possibly water pump..as wel as brakes of course

I do deliveries occasionally in my Bolt. I feel bad for people that do the same and drive ICE vehicles. See a lot of subbreddit posts about increasing gas and maintenance costs on their cars. I did stop doing rideshare 2 years ago before I've got my Bolt. Simply don't like to drive people around. Food doesn't talk, won't file false claims, can listen to MY music and endure instant torque accelerations

FWIW, I know a guy who owns a pizza store. Once, after a couple of beers, he said he sometimes feels guilty hiring highschool kids to deliver his wares. They only last a short while or until they have the first big repair bill. He said that most are so unreliable and/or untrustworthy is the only way he can balance his guilt of taking advantage of their beating up their cars.

Interior.. hard to believe I've had 5-6 thousand passengers in.. The faux leather including the "white" holding up very well . I just put some carpet coverings down on floor board , a liitle snow next week and all through the winter..I'll run aset of these throw away carpts few days ..week and then throw a clean set in.. have like 10 sets ($1 a piece at the dollar store..so no nagging about a waste of money )

I agree. I was a pizza driver for almost 10 years due to some circumstances in my life and saw everything. My boss didn't want me to leave since I was always neatly dressed, polite, on time if I'll be late I always call the store and say that. We had several drivers vanishing at the end of the shift with the money they had from customers during a day. We had phone girls simply not showing up on Friday night without call or notice and then coming on Monday like nothing happened. So I understand that guy.

OneEV: Please tell us more about the condition of your Bolt EV at 115,000 miles!

Mine will be fully paid with 16,000 more Uber miles driven at a rate of about 800-1,000 miles per week. It just jumped from 35,000 to 40,000 in my recent 5 weeks of returning to Uber driving.

Also, it appears you plugged your Powapod into your armrest USB jacks and not the passenger jacks; just curious why?

I use both of my armrest USB's for a music Flashstick and the wireless Apple CarPlay.

Do you have advice on a dash cam? I just got the DriveScape unit through Uber, but I am returning it.

What a great time to be driving rideshare, less competition since higher gas prices discourage the ICE competition.

Yes: I agree! The algorithm gives me many long drives, as I like it, because I accept them all!

This keeps me from not obtaining many Quests, but looking at my weekly earnings, I am happy; especially compared to Pre-Pandemic!

I just wish they would give me the Healthcare allotment; unfairly denied to us on a individualized health plan called Medicare: I pay monthly premiums like everyone else; I pay monthly supplement premiums like everyone else and I pay monthly prescription drug coverage, just like everyone else!

Morning jefro .. Actually for about 10 Months were (ev drivers) were paid a $1 bonus per ride . Back to regular rates now. I think they realized it costs me $8 to drive 250 miles and it costs the ICE driver $25$30$45 depending on thier vehicle (even prius driver)

BTW.. Almost 129,000 Miles on Now
