1st error was a white dialogue box "system error. please try again later".
2nd error is for over a week when I'm gone on a trip trying to rest "charge status unable to load vehicle info"
last check it was at 76%. Now moved onto "level 3 troubleshooting" at Onstar. I've uninstalled , reinstalled, updated in google play, logged off, etc. Any ideas would be appreciated.

Rather than uninstalling, try clearing data for the app in Android settings:

Also check for an update for your phone's android system, not just the app itself

Where your Bolt is parked, is there a strong cellular signal for AT&T (Bolt's data connection)? Anything that might interfere with cellular signal?

You have been around and had the Bolt for a while, have you had the status work after longer periods of elapsed time away?

I am sure others will chime in about the elapsed time and their experience, but my experience has been that up to 1 week works fine, after about 10 days car seems to go to "power saver" and I get a message, "not available, please drive your vehicle and try again" or something like that. It needs to be driven to reconnect. This was frustrating to me as one of the best features was preconditioning it remotely after flying home from a trip. Works great if a week or less but seems not to work if for longer periods.

Would remotely locking your car reset the 10 day timer?

As an update, failed to remotely lock car... no luck have to hope it's okay on 3/6/22 when I return from out of state!
Sorry to hear about your troubles. I think the reason that you're noticing that it's having problems is because you're actually trying to use it!

I have overall had a pretty disappointing experience with the OnStar reliability in the Bolt, and my guess is that it uses the dopiest network modes and crummy software at step along the way. Silly question, but has your service expired? I've had mine just randomly......stop....
Then start working days later after a drive cycle. maybe. If it's any consolation, my wife's Mach-E is terrible at the very same thing. I don't think it's a hard thing to do, I just think the automakers are too cheap to do it right. Your connection will probably start working for the same indeterminate reasons that it stopped.

And there's a better than average chance that your car is charged and perfectly fine when you return I'm March.
