Hi all,
I have a 2023 Chevy Bolt LT2. Installed the mychevy app which is working except for the navigation option. When I enter the destination, then tap on destination when the app finds it, then tap on send to maps, it displays the message "Cannot Open" with the text "zoom cannot open this link because it is invalid"
How do I fix this?
Thanks in advance

For whatever reason, on your phone, the Zoom app is set to open map links. So what you'll want to do is long press a map link like the one below, and change the app to an actual mapping app (like Google Maps) instead of using the Zoom app to open it:

I really appreciate your answering this question but I am lost with how to implement your answer. I would need some more specifics. When I long click on Google maps on my phone I don't have a choice to change anything. So what exactly is a map link on my phone that I would long tap.
Thanks!

I guess the first question is whether you have an iPhone or an Android phone?

What’s happening is that the MyChevrolet app is trying to open a mapping app on your phone, like Google Maps, Waze, etc. However, for some reason, the Zoom videoconferencing app is set as the default mapping app on your phone.

So we need to reset that preference somehow.

One easy option, if you don't need the Zoom app, is to simply uninstall the Zoom app from your phone. Then, hopefully, the link to the mapping app will start working again. If you need Zoom, you could try reinstalling it afterwards to see if the problem is fixed, or if it comes back.

I have an Android phone. I use the Zoom App a couple of times a day. I will uninstall Zoom, then see if MyChevy app behaves properly. Then I will reinstall the Zoom and maybe that will be the answer. Of course, I'll let you know one way or the other!

HI MichBolt,
I am happy to report to you that after uninstalling zoom the mychevy app gave me a choice of several apps including Google maps; that is what I chose. I reinstalled Zoom and opened it. Then closed Zoom. Then closed and opened mychevy and went to navigation. It gave me a choice of apps of which one was Zoom...but thankfully so also was Google maps as a choice as well as Waze. So, the world can now keep spinning and I am able to use mychevy app for navigation which I likely won't do very often since I use Google maps. But I did want to get that app "fixed". So it goes, thanks for your help
