Welcome aboard. You will get used to it. People in Northern climes (and sometimes mid-latitudes) simply know they will not get 238 miles each charge. I find it does not affect ANY of my daily driving, only the infrequent, long (>175 mile) trips. My day-to-day driving is ONLY affected by plugging in (in my garage) and charging a little more frequently. Otherwise, I drive normally, at speed-limit speeds, regen to save the brakes, and use heat normally.
Seat heat is great and I have a small (2x3 ft) quilt (my sister made) for over the lap on the long trips. (This really traps the heat and makes no need for any of those 12-volt electric blankets.) Steering wheel heat IS a wonderful feature!
We look forward to hearing of your experiences and perspectives.
