Hi Folks!

I just took delivery of a new, Kinetic Blue, 2019 Bolt LT last night. I bought the car mid October, and it took this long just for it to arrive at the dealer. It is loaded with the DC fast charger, comfort & convenience, driver confidence 1 & 2 packages, all-weather floormats and a cargo net.

This is our second electric car, but the first one that made sense to buy - it was so cheap for all that you get! With the local power generator incentives, power company incentives, GM (have another EV vehicle on-lease) rebate, Costco rebate, free 40A 10KW 240 WAC WiFi charger, state incentive and federal tax credit, our purchase price (before tax/DMV registration fees) was just $20.5K net.

That deal is/was too hard to pass up.

I'm loving the car so far - one day! I hope to learn from the experience(s) you have with the vehicle. I've been getting all of the My Chevy app and infotainment system features going. I think this is going to be some fun!

Thanks to you all in advance for pioneering and sharing your knowledge with all of us who have followed.

Welcome and congratulations! Sounds like a very enviable stack of incentives you were able to collect. If you could list sticker, dealer incentives, GM incentives, Costco, etc... so we could better understand how you were able to get to that price?

We greatly enjoy driving our Bolt, hope you have fun with and enjoy your Bolt just as much!

Definitely good time to buy considering the Federal rebate will drop to $3,750 next year since GM hit the 200k sale mark.

There's going to be a lot of people next year that were on the fence waiting for something else that they probably won't be able to get due to low production that will buy a Bolt late and kick themselves.

A couple of discounts turned out to be higher than I had originally planned. So, net, it was even lower. Wow!!

$40,209 sticker

$4,000 Dealer Discount (a deal only for customers of the Green Power Generator of our home's utilities)
$4,000 Green Energy (Green Power Generator customers) Discount paid to dealer on our behalf directly from the GPG
$1,500 GM Discount (due to other EV lease)
$700 Costco Discount (in the form of gift card)
$800 Electric Company (PG&E) rebate (if I apply after Jan 1 - $500 if I apply now. I'll wait!)
$2,500 CA State Rebate
$7,500 Federal Tax Credit

=$19,209 plus tax, fees and registration. So, as it turns out, it was less than my initial mental calculation of $21.5k The Costco, Electric Company and GM discount were a bit higher than I had originally planned for. No complaints here.

$80 Document Processing Charge
$3,151 Sales tax
$237 Vehicle Licensing Fee
$245 Registration Fee
$7 CA Tire Fee

=$22,849 out the door, all-in, after rebates, incentives, and tax credit. There is no way I could have passed up this deal. This car turns out to be cheaper than a non-electric Hyundai. I'm over the moon!
