So hello. I just purchased a 2019 Bolt Premier (some pretty crazy deals going now). I’m a Home Inspector and I’m using the Bolt as my daily driver. I had a Golf Sportwagen before this and while I liked it, it was red and I wanted something white that I could put signage or a partial wrap on the vehicle. We might get a new VW Bus if they ever actually come out with one, but with the miles I put on a car, it was doubtful the Sportwagen would make it until the Bus ever comes out, so after seriously considering the BMW i3, we decided on the Bolt. Have to say, it’s quite different driving an electric vehicle!

Welcome! I've come from many years of VW/Audi ownership - including 4 years in a VW eGolf. While I really liked the VW-ness of the eGolf, I was becoming disenchanted with its lack of range, and frustrated that VW were being mum about bringing the ID.3 here to the U.S. I'm a relatively new Bolt owner and I'm very pleased so far. I still wouldn't mind tightening up the suspension a bit once aftermarket parts are available but even if that's not forthcoming I'm still very happy with the range, power, practicality, and overall satisfactory driving experience with the Bolt.

Swapped my 2013 Volt for a 2019 Bolt. Both great cars, but the Bolt had some advancements in technology, like when the Bolt told me, "you are exceeding the speed limit!" Whoa. Had me looking over my shoulder.
I am confused over the mileage thingy. I supposed I was to get 238 miles per full charge. After a week of daily driving i have never been that low. Left it overnight on day one and next day the system showed 245 miles available. Usually charge daily and never have seen 238 MPC. Any wisdom?

The mileage is an estimate based on recent driving history. High speed driving, rain, cold, wind, terrain, etc will all reduce your range. Driving on level back roads, nice weather, etc will result in better range. I charged overnight last night and my range this morning is 273 miles. This winter when the temperature is in the single digits and the heat is blasting it will be about 150.
