Anyone willing to hazard a guess what the large after charging spike might be ? Background info: This charge was started after returning from a road trip where I unexpectedly ran the battery lower than intended - I arrived with 35 miles remains on the GOM, and the battery bars yellow. I may yet have to acquire an OBD2 dongle, although I expect I would need to be watching the details at the time. 8AE20355-7A94-4316-A9B1-ABC43A93ADA4.jpeg

My guess is it's the battery cooling system kicking in. I know the heating system kicks in in cold weather which will show spikes like you observed.

The AC compressor, and the battery coolant pump together might pull a kW, not the full capacity of the onboard charger this shows. Accessory battery charging might pull 2 kW from the wall.

Here is a shot of battery heating in the winter, which pulls more power than battery cooling.

I agree. That looks like far too much for cooling.
