Hello Everyone. I am a new Bolt owner in WV. I am old (71) and retired from the practice of surgery. I am currently a University Professor (Adjunct = part-time) with a 14 mile RT commute to work. We in WV have some extra problems. Some, like hills, are shared with other localities. Some, like the lack of non-Tesla Level 3 Stations, are unique to our "backwards-looking" State! Any other WV Bolt drivers on the Forum? Would love to share ideas, tips, and questions.

I live in CA and we have hills and mountains. We don't have Tesla chargers and that makes no
difference to me. You see, my Chevy Bolt "is not" compatible with the proprietary, Tesla plug.

Today's tips for you would be:
#1. Activate the Hill Top Reserve feature to limit the charge of your HVB.
#2 Air up your tires to at least 40 psi. I run 49 in mine.
#3 Set the charging rate from 8 amps to 12 amps.
#4 Learn to drive in L Mode all the time.
#5 Have fun!

Maybe you can petition the University to install a charger to promote environmentally friendly vehicles? :D My old university installed a few in the parking lot.

Congratulations on acquiring a Chevy Bolt. @drdiesel1 pretty much nailed the majority of the points there and it also helps if you cut down the usage of HVAC and what not.

In other regards, what trim did you get and what color? :)
