Hi,
My first EV, a 2020 Bolt Premier. Had a couple of hybrids. Been driving the farm truck( Ram 1500 with 5.7L Hemi) and just felt like I needed to go this direction . Just took a 54 mile round trip (via Interstate) to Gainesville just to help with my confidence. Piece of cake.Next weekend we will go farther.
Really loving this car. Plan on installing a dashcam this weekend, and a few more weeks to make it mine. I'll post the as time goes on.

@XDNUEVE welcome to the forum.
Welcome to the forum! I've always thought that the Bolt would be a great vehicle in rural areas, given that you can charge at home and not need to deal with a perhaps far-off gas station. I've lived in small towns over a hundred miles from anything else, and everything is more expensive. But home electricity was always available and reasonable. Keeps us posted on your Bolt adventures!

One thing I miss on the .BMW i3 is the range extender. I could always take an extra gascan and the generator would add 65 more miles to the battery. But the Bolt has a 2.5 longer range to begin with

Awesome, welcome to EV ownership.
FYI: be aware the Bushnell EA station and Lake City EA station are going offline for probably a month+ to install new units.
but Valdosta and as you are aware Gainesville opened back up. The Bolt is a really easy car to travel in up to 500 or so miles IMO; driving around Florida for you wil be a piece of cake as DCFC stations are coming all over the place.
If you havent already, check out the Plugshare app. (y)

again, welcome!

Thank you! There is a lack of rapid chargers in eastern Ft. Lauderdale, sadly. But we will manage. Or install one at the house Fun car. Still getting used to putting it in Low all the time
