Hey all - just picked up my new Premier in dark gray! Thanks to all the great posts I’ve been reading on here the last few weeks, they’ve really helped me know what I’m getting in to.

Now I’m looking forward to installing a draw-tire hitch so I can start hauling some bikes around.

So far driving in L mode has been great. Surprises have been the auto brights coming on, the rear view camera mode, the uncomfortably hard side of the seat when getting out of the car and not having home link.

Welcome, I'm for NW IL and had mine about 1-1/2 weeks now. Love the car, but I'm holding off on using the L-mode until the car has 500 miles and the friction brake have had a chance to "break in".
There's a surface treatment that goes a few microns deep that prevents rust on GM brakes. Don't use too much and get past the rust preventative, especially in Illinois. I grew up in northern Illinois. And is the reason I now live in the Southwest where rust isn't an issue.

Dang a few microns is only .002" or .003" thick. Seems like that would be gone after using the friction breaks 10 times. Anyway I always that you needed to break in the brakes slowly the 1st 500 miles before using the hard (emergency stops).
