All of a sudden I cannot get my iPhone 6 to "talk" to my 2017 Bolt. I’ve cycled the power. I’ve tried two different USB cables (they both work with other devices). I’ve tried using Bluetooth. Neither one works. I have iOS 12.3.1 on the iPhone. I’m leaning towards it being the phone not the Bolt but I thought I’d post here before going to see the "geniuses" at my Apple store.

Has anyone else noticed this?

I had something similar happen to me a while back. The USB ports in the center console that had been working fine for almost 2 years suddenly stopped working. I also tried power cycling to no avail. After leaving the car off while parked for about an hour, they just as suddenly came back to life. No issues since.

I should have been more specific.......this has been happening over the course of several days. I charge the Bolt each night. I’ve cycled the power on the phone as well as the car. The center console USBs supply power to other devices (speaker, iPad) without any issues so I know the USB ports are OK. The last iOS upgrade was a few weeks ago and I know it connected since then. It won’t connect via Bluetooth either so I’m assuming it’s the phone but I thought I’d check here first.

OK....after a quick call to the "geniuses" at Apple, it turns out that deleting (forget this car) and reinstalling the Chevy My Link feature under settings/car play was the trick. She’s back to normal. Woohoo!
