I saw something similar that was in a set of pedal covers there was a auto and manual design perhaps these can be modified to fit.

This dead pedal will work if you use the hook side of Velcro, stuck to the tape.

If the pedal that was being sold was going to stick on the carpet with Velcro, getting Velcro squares is no big deal to use.

Contacted OP recently to ask about this product - it appears he is no longer producing them. Just a heads up ;)
There’s a similar dead pedal being sold on Etsy. It comes in a regular and XL version, I have the XL version and it covers much better than the regular version.

The back is covered in Velcro, so you just position it and press down. It easily peels off if needed.

Cost is $15 plus $3 shipping.

Search for Chevy Bolt Dead Pedal on Etsy to find it.

Does anyone know whether this will this fit under the weather tech mats? Those only cover part of the dead pedal area.

Thanks!
Bryan
Hey Bryan,

I'm the one behind the deadpedal on Etsy. If you provide me with measurements, I can make another edition of the deadpedal to be used for the WeatherTechs. It would probably be a lot cheaper since it would likely be half the size.

Balls!!! I already ordered the standard size from you (and I think you shipped it!) figuring it would work tucked underneath the weathertech mats.

To the creator of the dead pedal Please don't take this as disrespect.

After some searching I found this for those if us with 3D printers.

I have printed it and installed it with some Velcro.

The original author of this thread gave up manufacturing them but that appears to be the same one he was selling. I believe that is his post on thingiverse, I doubt he will take offense.

I'm the current producer for the one on Etsy and I don't take offense either; I support the maker movement. I'd gladly release my SVG file for my laser cut design should anyone want it for home use.

I'm now offering my latest project for sale - the Bolt carpet protector footrest dead pedal.

The issue is that the carpeted left foot rest in the Bolt quickly gets dirty, and don't even ask about the pine needles the carpet absorbs - way beyond vacuuming - you need tweezers.

So the solution is a sturdy black 3D-printed ABS plastic foot rest cover, about 1/8" thick, so it doesn't raise foot placement much. It's designed with non-slip nubs, to mimic the brake pedal cover on the Bolt.

Installation takes 10 seconds - just place it on the carpet and press a little. It won't move around, because the back side is completely covered with 4" wide Velcro hooks. It is easily removed, if ever: just peel it off the carpet.

I'm asking $30US, which includes USPS Priority Mail to US addresses only. PayPal rwzehr @ gmail(dot)com
Are these deadpedal covers still available for sale? Cheers, Roger
