I did mine a few months ago, but i didn't receive an email like that. Which parts did you order?

I got the grill, badges and wheel caps; i can probably find my receipt if you think it would help reconfirm everything, but i used the same part numbers from Claudia's post you linked above.

Will be testing my range when the weather warms up to be able to compare accurately if the grille affects wind resistance or not. It doesnt seem to in around town driving. But i need warmer weather to be able to test high speed where it matters without weather factors playing a part in efficiency as I only have old data from last summer (pre re-badge).

I got the same email yeah, they just don't have "catalog support" for Opel branded vehicles is all. From my back and forth with one of their reps, I gather internally they're using a different catalog system than the "3rd party catalog on the website".

These are the correct part id's, you're not going to end up with something wholly unrelated unless they actually ship you the wrong part numbers entirely.

they look great to me.
I have the LT wheels, so they match well. There's no Opel insignia on the wheel caps like there is on the badges.

I dont know what size they are, but they match perfectly to the oem, so the same. How do you measure these? is it by the hole diameter in the wheel? ie the back of the clip diameter?
I might have the bag they came in around here to see if it says.

Wow does this bring me down memory lane! My first car was a used 1971 Opel Manta and my first new car was a 1975 Opel 1900/Ascona bought at a Buick dealership. I drove the 1900 from NJ to CA listening to Led Zepplin cassette tapes, what a trip! I’ll be ordering these Opel parts for sure.

No, I didnt replace the fender emblems, still have a “Bolt”.

those part number refer to the Opel lightning bolt emblems. one over the grill I think? and the other on the rear hatch to replace the chevy bow ties.

Has anyone figured a way to replace these from the Bolt EV to ampere e ones? I just ordered them for both sides, but don't see a good way that they clip in without just destroying the Bolt EV ones in the process. Almost temped to ask my dealer what they would quote if they can get the Bolt EV ones out in 1 piece or not.

I’ve seen pics of some trying to remove the Bolt ones. apparently all you can do is destroy them to get them off. There’s a thread around here somewhere. A couple years ago…

I had a cheap ebay rear emblem from a few years ago and now I see this thread. It's ok for a 2017 bolt? Is it normal to not see images on the gm parts direct website?

I want that front grill so bad lol, so nice... And the rear emblem is enough for me (the cheap ebay one I got way back is cracking, fading and doesn't fit the curve of the glass)

Yes, it fits just fine for 2017-2021 Bolts - and yes, no GM part center will have a image or logo of the part. This is the same for all of the parts (see images attached from when I ordered mine). I just need to order the airbag cover if my repurchase trade falls through.

I ironically ordered mine a few months ago and it only took about 2 weeks for everything. So it doesn’t appear that any of this is on a back order but might be a special order on GM’s side.
