We just picked up our 2017 Bolt yesterday, and the first impressions are 99% good.

One annoying thing that presented itself last night coming home was that the overhead Passenger Air Bag indicator (ON/OFF) shines like an Orange Beacon Of Safety, very bright.
Other vehicles we either own now or have owned in the recent past show that indicator for a short time after starting the car, then shut it off.

Is anyone else annoyed by this, or am I just over-sensitive to these kinds of things?

Thanks!

It probably depends on your seat height, etc...

It doesn't bother me.

I'm 6'3" and long in the torso, (short legs) so sit quite high with the seat all the way down.
It's just above my direct line of sight, so "right there".

I may have to find something to block or dim it, and while I'm at it the OnStar LED. (I don't use OnStar on purpose) Perhaps a piece of smoked plastic...

If it bothers you put black electric tape on it. Doesn't bother me at all.
