I apologize if this has been asked before, but couldn't find it using Search.
I'm coming from a 2013 BMW X3, which has front and rear proximity sensors and "birds-eye"/360 degree overhead view.
The X3's overhead view and sensor warnings were very helpful when pulling into my tight garage. I'd get beeps as sensors picked up things to the sides while pulling in. Beep rate would increase as I got closer to the front wall and switch to steady tone when I was just about going to whack into something. I'd also get yellow indications on the display from the sensors that were being triggered.
On the Bolt, I've yet to get any warning from the front sensors and the rear sensors don't go off until I'm just about to whack into something (or so it seems from the camera view).
Is this the designed behavior or is it me?
P.S. Do the front sensors help at all in not hitting parking blocks (the things that tend to scrape low-slung front bumpers?
