There is no wide spread reports of these things going haywire. There was a tech bulletin for it being on too much, to which they masked off the sensor a bit. You'll have to take it in.

maybe check fuse #3
edit: maybe not as you only specified the left light which might mean the right is working. then fuse wouldn't be the issue.

You mean the left blind zone alert indicator.

My '17 has the same issue. Seems like a small issue now that is appears that my battery has problems.
