When I use the push to talk button, it brings up my recent calls on my phone but does not prompt me to speak. Has anyone else run into this or have a fix? I tried bringing it into the dealer and they couldn't figure it out.

Have you tried to press and hold it for three seconds? At least that works for me to use my voice commands on my phone.

Yes, I tried pressing and holding the button. After a few seconds I see a microphone pop up on the screen, but only for a fraction of a second and then it goes away and nothing else happens. If I just press it once it brings up my recent calls but no voice command prompt.

Pressing and holding for 3 seconds will bring up the recent called list, and holding will cause the "Voice Command" dialog to appear for a SPLIT second, then it disappears. I had to record it and play it back frame by frame to even see what it was because it goes so fast. Then it does nothing.

Pressing the button just redials my last called number.

I feel like voice commands is NOT a feature in this vehicle and the dialog appearing is just a bug.

Sounds like I am not the only one, thanks for the responses. Does anyone have ideas on how to get it fixed? My dealer was going to contact GM to try to identify a fix, but my service adviser has gone silent on me and isn't returning my calls. I know it's not really a big deal, but I feel like the button should work as intended and GM should have a solution to the issue.

Same issue here, 2019 model, read somewhere online that wasnt a GM source that this was a feature delete in 2019+ models. Kind of stupid as Android auto didn't work over Bluetooth for me and who wants to jack around plugging in your phone everytime you get in the car.

Not only do you have to hold talk button on steering wheel for 3 seconds, your phone must not be sleeping, you must be actively logged in. I have a Galaxy S10 and as long I am have it active this works
Nothing on this in the owners manual and technicians don't seem to know this.
Work great once those two conditions are met
