Welcome. The dealer will probably receive it within a couple of weeks, right around April 1st.
Any known issues with Cassens right now? I saw that they just delivered a Bolt to the dealer today, so I know that stuff is moving. But I have no idea when that other car was released to them in the first place.@cfilkins Cassens Transport is what's up.
I know all of us waiting are anxious to hear how it's going to play out, and if they're going to create any sort of a run up to meet the requirements or if it's going to be immediate. Guess we'll have to wait and see.Last I heard was NLT March 31 for Treasury decision.
Congrats and best of luck on the timeline. We're in a similar situation, also going full electric, but we're in the West Coast and we managed to find one that was "in transit" but ordered by another customer. After telling the dealer to let me know if the deal falls through, I received a call a week later that the deal, indeed, fell through. We paid our deposit and are now "watching" the Chevy's website for updates on delivery. I've noticed the dates have changed; it's been pushed by about 4 days when we gave our deposit early this month. Still expecting delivery this month [timing would be perfect as we will be in the area, about 4 hours from our home for other reasons], but keeping our fingers crossed. Already started buying our accessories!Howdy everyone! Just wanted to give a quick introduction...we had placed an order for a 2023 Bolt EUV Premier a couple of weeks ago, but found a dealer a few hours away that has one "in transit" with the original buyer having just backed out. So we slapped our name on it and are hoping it arrives sooner than later (it's been "Pending Dispatch" since it was built on 3/3, and the dealer is just a few hours south of Lake Orion). Fingers crossed it arrives before the end of the month.
We're excited to be going full electric...we've owned 3 Pacifica Hybrids, so we're very familiar with plug-in hybrids and already have a Level 2 setup at home ready to go.
Where on the site are you seeing any dates on the Chevy site? Thanks!Congrats and best of luck on the timeline. 1. Go to Chevrolet.com; 2. select "Vehicles" [top left bar] and then select "Bolt EUV"; 3. then select "Search Inventory"; 4. You should now be on an inventory page that shows you EUVs that are "Ready for Delivery", "Available Now" and "In Transit". On the top left corner, enter Zip code for your dealer and then select mile distance from that zip to capture inventory of EUVs in various status. Obviously, if you want to see vehicles based on your zip, just enter your zip instead.Where on the site are you seeing any dates on the Chevy site? Thanks!
Got it. And, having read your original post more closely [i.e. "Pending Dispatch"], I suspect you'll be able to get delivery estimated delivery dates once it's been dispatched by using the Chevrolet website.Yup, I'm pretty familiar with this page...but I don't think I've ever seen any dates in there, and I don't see any dates hiding in the url, eitherIn VIN View, the salesman can only see "Pending Dispatch," where it's been for about two weeks now. One of the things he explained to me is that, because their vehicles are floorplanned, Chevy gives them 2 weeks from when the vehicle is released from the plant before they have to start paying interest. So they're going to have to start paying interest in the car in the next couple of days, yet have no information around when the car will actually show up.
I checked Cassens site and confirmed that they had received a Bolt yesterday (not EUV) directly from the Lake Orion station, so they are getting shipped directly from Chevy to the dealer. But GM hasn't responded at all to their requests to even send up a truck to pick it up themselves.
I don't know that GM limits status checks of vehicles to only the ordering customer. It wouldn't hurt to do a status check using the VIN with the chatbot. We didn't order it (someone else did and backed out), but have the VIN. My gut is that it's just waiting on a slot on a Cassens truck at this point, and will be pending dispatch until it's on a truck on its way that same day. More likely than not, it's just going to show up one day. I've never had any luck seeing any tracking info from Cassens ahead of the current day. Makes me really curious how their logistics work, if they have a plan for which cars are moving on which days, or if it's just whatever the driver picks up at a given time.
So, after I sent my reply to you I went ahead and typed in my number and got the same message. Keep us updated!"Congratulations! Your vehicle has been produced. It is important to know that shipping arrangements will take place next and your selling dealer is the best source for additional detail on that process."
