Hi All. Before I take the car to the dealer, I just want to get some feedback from Bolt folks.

A few days ago I started noticing that pushing the button on the door to unlock the driver-side door didn't unlock it anymore, but instead seemed to quickly unlock and then lock. Pushing it again unlocked all doors including the driver one though.

Okay.

Now I started noticing a three chime alert when I exit the car that I never heard before.

And now when I put it in park the doors no longer automatically unlock.

Weird.

Has anyone had this issue with their power lock doors?

Thanks in advance

Sounds like the situation you get when you leave a fob in the car, your spouse missing hers? LOL
Try the same on the passenger's side, if you get the same result it's not the driver's door switch that is causing the problem.

Three rapid chimes when you close the door upon exiting is a "remote left in vehicle" warning. Assuming you are certain there is not another key in the vehicle, it sounds like an electrical bug to me.
For sure!

I'm pretty sure I didn't leave my remote in the car lol.

Since my spare is at home in a lock box.

Interestingly enough the problem fixed itself.

I don't want to post hoc anything but we had heavy rain in Los Angeles a few days ago and the freeway I commute home on got flooded pretty bad.

Perhaps it was an electrical bug that got wet lol

Thanks for all your help everyone. I hate going to the dealer.
