Just purchased a 19 bolt premier. I have a question about the rear park assist feature.
When I reverse, the cameras come on and the cross traffic alerts work, all on the infotainment screen. But on the instrument cluster, the little picture of the car with teh sonic range indicators only shows up every once in a while, and only for a few seconds. I was under the impression that that would always come on when reversing and beep at me for distance to objects behind me. I cant find any settings for it.
Any ideas? Or am I off base here?

The image on the instrument cluster is the forward collision alert (or following too closely sensor); it has nothing to do with parking assist or pedestrian cross traffic.

it has 3 distance alert settings you can adjust though, depending on your preferences for alerts (when following or approaching slowed/stopped vehicles). But it is the forward collision warning system only.

edit: ignore above; i guess i’ve never noticed anything appearing on my instrument cluster. or the premier is different. need to watch for that notification.
