To put seat covers on the rear seat bottom I toggled the latches under the seat and removed the seat bottom.

I now can't get it back in place. It seems there are four U-shaped tabs (really more of an "n or "o" as the open end of the U is welded to the floor) that the rear of the seat catches on.

I can't figure out how to get the seat to slide back enough to catch on these tabs.

Suggestions appreciated.

Well, the main battery disconnect is under there so it shouldn't be that hard as every tec working on the car will need to remove the seat to pull the disconnect.

Ah, so that’s what that device is, “battery disconnect.” I was wondering.

I forget that the seat comes off like my i-MiEV did.
Thanks, gonna get some fabric and put it on so it doesn't slip off anymore. I just had it tucked under.




Watch the Seatbelt plugs. They may need to be pulled out a bit when you slide the seat in
