On my commute to work this morning in my Bolt, in the HOV lane, two cars ahead of me changed lanes quickly and overtook a blue car which apparently wasn't going fast enough for them. So then I was behind this car. It had an odd shape, and being an HOV commuter I tend to look at other cars in the lane to see if they are ICE cars with 2 or more passengers, or the occasional renegade ICE commuter trying to get ahead of everyone else.

Getting closer to the blue car, I saw that it was a Chevy, and that it had no tail pipe, but sported white HOV zero-emission stickers in the back. I wondered if it was a Spark or some other smallish EV from yesteryear, as the girth was pretty narrow.

Finally I was able to get close enough to read the markings: it said "Bolt EV".

It is weird, no, seeing your own car from the rear?

I tell you, though, those distinct headlights do help in identifying Bolts in the wild. Still, I do (awkwardly) wave at the occasional Honda Fit driver.
