I've ignored their offers [all by snail mail] since the free trial ended fall of 2017. Today I got a "no strings, no credit card" email offer for 2 free months:
"As a thank-you for having your car serviced recently, SiriusXM and Your Dealer are giving you a free 2-Month SiriusXM All Access package trial. That means 2 months of the best in commercial-free music plus talk, sports, comedy, news and more ...No credit card required - freedom to cancel anytime. ... Your SiriusXM service will automatically stop at the end of your trial unless you decide to subscribe".

So GM tells Sirius when I get my car serviced. I must have signed away any privacy with my GM data at some point... The good news is that the service was free - my 2nd tire rotation before the 2-years was up end of this week.

I did this periodically with my 2014 Silverado. Over the years I would periodically get a couple no strings attached offer. It's the dealership/Onstar network that is tied to SiriusXM. I've seen it in the fine print somewhere, part of the dealerships "partner" solicitations.

I already pay for a portable unit as well as the cell app because my old cars and few other uses, and the app plays through Android Auto perfectly so won't be worrying about free offers in the Bolt.
