Hope the CVT holds up in the Altima for the length of time the OP needs the car. It seems CVTs in Nissans (they all come from https://www.jatco.co.jp/english/company/profile.html due to ownership) have a bad rep. I'm not clear if it's well-deserved or not.
I say this as being somewhat of a fan of Nissan even though I no longer have one. I've had four Nissans before, two of the them were Leafs. None had a CVT though.
